Cor-Blue™ T-Head Bolts

Blue-coated T-head bolts are a waterworks staple. But coating consistency, material origin, and traceability vary widely across suppliers. Cor-Blue is manufactured and coated in the U.S., hand-inspected for cure and adhesion coverage, and backed by documentation that tells you exactly what you are installing and where it came from.

  • Up to 1,000 hours of corrosion resistance
Per ASTM B117 salt fog test. Significantly outperforms standard galvanized bolts in harsh waterworks environments.
  • No torching, cutting, or nut splitting at removal
Standard wrenches are all your crew needs. The FluoroKote#1® coating keeps threads clean and accessible for the life of the installation.
  • k-factor of 0.06–0.08 eliminates galling
Consistent low friction coefficient means predictable torque, repeatable installation, and no seized threads on the next maintenance cycle.
  • Meets ASTM, ASME, and AWWA standards
Manufactured in AIS, BABA, ISO, and NSF-61 compliant facilities. MTRs ship with every order — not on request.
Before Your Next Order

Three questions worth asking your current supplier

If you cannot get a straight answer to all three, that is the conversation we are ready to have at Booth #1849.

Where was this bolt manufactured and coated?

Cor-Blue is manufactured and coated in the U.S., start to finish. You can trace every bolt back to its material source. If your supplier cannot tell you where the steel came from and where the coating was applied, you cannot verify what you are putting in the ground.

Do MTRs ship automatically with every order?

We include material test reports on every shipment — not as an add-on, not on request. If your current supplier only provides documentation when you ask for it, that tells you something about how they think about traceability.

Can you get your full waterworks line from one source?

T-head bolts, MJ gasket packs, flange accessory kits, ASTM A307 Grade B bolts — Birmingham Fastener supplies the complete waterworks fastener line. One supplier, one point of accountability, one set of documentation standards across everything you order.
